Russell Dunning is a sports physical therapist and strength coach. He comes from a Martial Art and Strength Athlete background. After his academic years, which includes a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Physical Therapy, he pursued becoming a StrongFirstKettlebell Instructor to compliment his Sport Medicine Physical Therapy focus.
As an academic, he is published and active in research; as a PT, he is deeply involved in his patient’s successes. As a coach, he leads groups of both young athletes and professional athletes in classes to better their total body performance, strength, and conditioning at one of his four Kime Performance Institute facilities in the Sacramento area. Russ is the Sports Medicine Coach for UFC Hall of Famer,Urijah Faber and Team Alpha Male.
