Lori is the owner and lead consultant for Balance Biomechanics based in Littleton, CO specializing in injury proofing employees in high hazard industries to prevent costly musculoskeletal injuries by optimizing human movement in any environment.
Lori graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S in Exercise Science and went on to earn her certification in sports massage therapy and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. She started her career working privately with clients providing manual therapies along with strength and conditioning before and after orthopedic surgeries. Lori continued to specialize her skills and pioneered a “mechanics of falling safely” program for seniors and others at risk of slips, trips and falls. This was the beginning of the underlying ninja themes in her courses.
After 15 years of owning her own private mobile services business, Lori transitioned her business into the occupational health and safety world and currently provides services across the country. She currently serves on the local Colorado board of the American Society of Safety Professionals and assists the board at the regional level. Lori has developed a strong passion for teaching and is a perpetual student to maintain her expertise in musculoskeletal injury prevention and human movement. Lori is a noted speaker on both a regional and national level. When Lori isn’t saving the world from injury and discomfort*, she spends her time with her husband and 3 busy kids.
