RockTape is proud to announce their newest addition to Team RockTapeUSA Water Polo MVP Maggie Steffens. This past summer at the 2017 FINA World Championships, Maggie again led Team USA to the gold medal, tallying 11 goals and 14 assists.

“I found myself very aligned with the RockTape company mission and what they’re doing to help athletes pursue their dreams. The products have helped our team to Olympic gold, keep healthy, and are an incredible source of recovery. Not to mention they’re local, in the Bay Area! I’m looking forward to being a part of the RockTape Team!” said Steffens.

As a collegiate athlete Steffens played Water Polo for Stanford University. Maggie was named 2017 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Player of the Year, in addition Steffens is one of the only athletes in history to be nominated for both the NCAA Woman of the Year AND the Women’s Sports Foundation Sportswoman of the Year awards.

“We’ve been cheering on Maggie Steffens for years as official USA Water Polo sponsors,” says Olivia Barton, Communications Manager at RockTape. “After her triumph in Rio, we couldn’t wait to get Maggie on Team RockTape. As a company, we’re committed to keeping people moving, and as a pro athlete and coach, Maggie shares our mission. We’re thrilled to support this MVP and keep her going stronger longer through her next Olympic tour.”
